Boeken Regisseur

De arbeidsmogelijkheden worden groter naarmate men meer ervaring opdoet en een naam opbouwt. Zonder ervaring in de industrie zal het zeer moeilijk zijn om aan werk te komen. Sommige regisseurs beginnen dan ook met het maken van een eigen project, zonder steun of medewerkers, om dit als marketing naar voren te kunnen brengen. Een initiele baan bij het medium dat de voorkeur heeft, geeft een voet in de deur naar regisseur en is een stuk makkelijker te vinden.

Vanuit een baan als regisseur kan men, als dat wenselijk is, doorstromen tot eindregisseur of producent, of simpelweg steeds betere projecten aangeboden krijgen. Ook kan men ervoor kiezen om vanuit de televisie op film over te stappen, of van film naar theater.
