Boeken bodemkundige
De Bodemkundige heeft verschillende mogelijkheden.
Ten eerste kan hij/zij werkzaam blijven in dezelfde hoedanigheid binnen de organisatie van de huidige werkgever of daar buiten bij een concurrent. Ten tweede kan de Bodemkundige doorgroeien binnen een commerciële organisatie naar een leidinggevende functie, bijvoorbeeld als projectleider en op den duur zelfs als directeur op zijn/haar vakgebied. Ten derde bestaat er de mogelijkheid tot specialisering binnen de bodemkunde, waarna de gegadigde zou kunnen kiezen voor een wetenschappelijke functie aan een universiteit of voor het oprichten van een eigen bodemkundige onderneming op een specifiek vakgebied.
Voor een ambitieuze Bodemkundige zal er werk blijven bestaan aangezien er niet alleen vaak bodemkundige onderzoeken verricht dienen te worden bij nieuwbouw projecten, maar ook bij mogelijke verontreinigingen en landherindelingen.
Momenteel wordt de 'bouwsector' getroffen door de kwalijke gevolgen van de economische crisis, waardoor er minder huizen worden gekocht en verkocht, waardoor onderzoeken naar nieuwbouw-grond momenteel iets minder vaak voorkomen. Men verwacht dat dit weer aan zal trekken in de komende jaren. Vooralsnog is er nog voldoende werk voor Bodemkundigen vanuit overheden en het bedrijfsleven.
Er zijn een hoop verschillende manieren om je te verdiepen in het beroep bodemkundige. Je kan een opleiding volgen, maar er zijn nog andere laagdrempelige manieren om aan die kennis te komen.
