Boeken Conservator
Er zijn niet veel vacatures voor Conservatoren. Het is daarom belangrijk om op te vallen door bijvoorbeeld veel te publiceren. Doorgroeimogelijkheden zijn er verder alleen in de grote musea, waar het mogelijk is om meer verantwoordelijkheden te krijgen en daarmee eventueel Hoofd Collectie te worden. Een goed gespecialiseerde Conservator kan bovendien zijn expertise lenen aan andere musea en daar als gastconservator meewerken aan tentoonstellingen gerelateerd aan zijn specialisme.
