Boeken Audioloog
Veel hoorcentra werken met audiciens in plaats van de hoger-opgeleide (en duurdere) audiologen, waardoor men vooral bij een academisch instituut terecht kan. Omdat hiervan maar een gelimiteerd aantal zijn, is er ook een gelimiteerd aantal banen beschikbaar. Wel kan men als audiologie-assistent of audicien aan werk komen, en vanuit zo'n positie doorgroeien.
Als audioloog kan men meer het onderzoek ingaan, en zo een fysicus worden of zelfs uiteindelijk hoogleraar.
