De directeur IT moet zich eerst heel erg bewijzen om voor deze baan in aanraking te komen. Er van uitgaande dat de directeur IT dit heeft gedaan en op verschillende plekken relevante ervaring heeft opgedaan, is het alsnog moeilijk om een dergelijke functie te bekleden.
