Boeken Onderofficier Elektrotechniek
De Onderofficier Elektrotechniek kan binnen de organisaties van de Krijgsmacht bijtekenen voor eenzelfde functie na afronding van een dienstperiode, doorgroeien naar hogere (Onder)Officiersfuncties indien er aan de gestelde vooropleidingseisen wordt voldaan (wat kan op kosten van Defensie) of een andere functie binnen de organisatie gaan bekleden.
Tevens is het mogelijk om voor een ander krijgsmachtsonderdeel te gaan werken.
Buiten Defensie is het voor de oud-Onderofficier mogelijk om voor een technisch bedrijf te gaan werken, afhankelijk van de genoten opleiding en werkervaring. De Onderofficier Autotechniek zou bijvoorbeeld automonteur kunnen worden en de Onderofficier Electrotechniek van de Marine zou werkzaam kunnen worden binnen de 'offshore'.
