Boeken Brigadier
De Politie krijgt de komende jaren te maken met een golf uittreders, waardoor er 1600 nieuwe agenten per jaar nodig zijn. Een gedeelte hiervan zal Brigadiers betreffen.
Het is nog onbekend wat de gevolgen van de geldtekorten en de bezuinigingen waarmee de politie te kampen heeft, zullen zijn.
Binnen de politie is het mogelijk om als Brigadier door te groeien naar een functie als Inspecteur. Tevens is het mogelijk om een specialistische functie te gaan bekleden. Hierbij valt te denken aan persoonsbeveiliger, hondenbegeleider, wijkagent, ME'er, lid van een arrestatieteam, waterpolitieagent, verkeerspolitieagent, rechercheur of vreemdelingenpolitieagent.
Buiten de politie kan de Brigadier zijn kennis en ervaring gebruiken bij een functie in het middenkader van het bedrijfsleven of de overheid.
